Two days ago one of my dearest friends left for Germany. She won’t be home for eight whole months.

Although I met her over a year ago I only really got to know her well these past couple weeks over christmas break. Those twenty days are not any that i will be forgetting for a long time. This is not only because i got to spend them with this amazing girl, but also since i got the chance to meet this nice guy from Tennesee,  these two smooth talking dj’s from PA and of course, spend time with this wonderful, loving family. They are the substantial reason i decided to start this post. It will take me a while to figure out what exactly i’m supposed to write in these, but i’m not in any hurry.

It’s so incomprehensible how one week you only know the idea of a person, the next you couldn’t imagine your daily life without them, and then in just one more short week they seem to have gone forever. Ohh how I miss them already. Why can’t everyone just be ubiquitous?

So I’m sitting here, writing this post as I’m listening to this special girl sing sweet songs of worship in the adjacent room. I should be working on any one of my particular homework assignments that must be completed this weekend, but I love listening to her voice and how she exclaims “ewwww!” every few minutes when she discovers yet another item of moldy food from her fridge. haha…
